Once upon a time, a group of Superhero Owls and their elders gathered with a teacher to play together. At school, the friends showed and shared some super secret items. When they took turns telling each other about the secret item they brought to the circle to share, they gained communication powers and honed their super sonic skills for listening to each other. The elders in the group explained to the group that listening is one way to show kindness to the people we love.
The Superhero Owls had a magical alchemy as they worked together to help the five color dragons get their treasure back from the villain. Sorting treasures for each of the dragons was a way for the Superheros to use their big muscles to lift and balance. While they helped the dragons, the friends perfected their problem solving and used megamath powers to discriminate and classify the treasure.
While they were working, the superheros made a potion to hep other friends fly. To make your own recipe for the flying potion, simply mix together the following ingredients into a large tub:
- vanilla frosting (Lightening)
- chocolate sauce (Rocket)
- balls (Shine)
- dirt (Professor Worm)
- some more dirt (Rocket)
- rocks (Professor Worm? my notes are unclear here, it was a speedy process)
- ketchup (Professor Worm)
- some more rocks (Rocket)
While they played and worked together to tell stories (and sweetly sing songs to each other), the Superhero owls laughed and snuggled and showed each other what they know about the world. In the process, they taught their grownups about noticing what is beautiful and valuable in good old-fashioned play.
